Project Management Board Meeting for AL4Life Erasmus+ Held in Madrid

The project aims to create competence-oriented education and innovation to enhance the growth and competitiveness of students and universities through the involvement of alumni in the teaching process and the modernization of educational objectives.

The meeting took place at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), Spain. All partners presented the successful work achieved so far in the project, as well as the next steps for its implementation.

The goal of the AL4Life project is to improve the connection between Western Balkan Higher Education Institutions (WBC HEIs) and the business sector, establish business networks, and create opportunities for collaboration, knowledge transfer, and partnerships between industry and universities. With a focus on increasing the employability of graduates, the project aims to create an institutional framework that allows for greater openness of higher education institutions to the needs of the market and industry.

The AL4Life project represents a significant step in transforming the Western Balkan education system towards modern standards, with the aim of creating competitive and innovative academic institutions that will be better connected to industry and the labor market.

Project activities also include the reform of operational regulations, integration of career center activities within the institutional framework, and the development of tools for effective alumni coordination, ensuring the sustainability and continuous realization of the project’s objectives.
